Operations Managers – Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Managing Director - you will have responsibility for driving the operational aspects of the business to include sales, logistics / supply chain and warehousing.
Manage and drive the manpower demand plans, schedules, quality initiatives, process change initiatives and assist the business to achieve year on year improvements within its operating plan.
Proven strong track record of team leadership within a large scale rapid and process driven environment – must have end to end process management experience.
Build on existing and develop new business development activities and client relationship management.
Develop a trade marketing plan tailored to each account and new business opportunity.
Be responsible as a point of contact for the retail customer regarding any product / merchandise related issues.
Be aware and sound understanding of competitor analysis and distribution.
Flexibility to manage a business that can operate 24/7 (including holidays based on market demand).
Experience Required
A minimum of 4 years experience in FMCG industry.
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Operations Management / with key accounts experience ideally with Supermarkets customers.
Excellent relationship building skills with customers & suppliers.
Strong negotiation skills in building relationships and effectively closing the deal for a win / win outcome.
Solid computer skills with particular specific knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) products & retail merchandising systems & POS etc.
Excellent presentation and communication skills are essential.
Demonstrate the ability to manage, motivate, and influence work behaviors through exceptional people skills and leadership.
